What's difference of the farming

Hi Subspace team,

Just want to know the difference between the two ways of farming.

  1. Setup node and farmers
  2. Install Subspace-Desktop app
    With the same size of plotting storage, which way has higher reward?

We had old Subspace Desktop, but it doesn’t support current networks, instead for current networks there is Space Acres.

CLI with separate node and farmer gives you a lot of tuning options that may sometimes get you slightly better plotting times or lower CPU utilization if you want that instead, but generally the benefits should be minor to zero.

Space Acres essentially does the same thing that CLI does with defaults in a bit more vertically integrated and more efficient way.

In terms of rewards for the same space pledged there will be zero difference, there is no disadvantage rewards-wise between the two options either way.
