:farmer: Farmers are flooding into the network! :farmer:

Hey countdown developers! We are seeing an unprecedented ramp up in storage being pledged to the network in anticipation of rewards being activated tomorrow. This is great!

But, it also makes our jobs a bit harder. As lots of space is being added it can cause block production timing to fluctuate. This has made it very difficult for us to predict exactly which block will be produced at 2023-09-06 17:00 UTC.

With that in mind, we’d like to see if any of the talented developers within our community would like to try and either predict the block based on current block production speed or switch their entries to use the date above for their countdown. Ingenious solutions to this problem will definitely attract extra points when we are judging.

:rocket: Big Reveal, Subspacers! :rocket:

The long-anticipated moment is here: we’re announcing the exact block when our testnet becomes incentivized: Block #???.

Special Hint for Forum Users: You can derive information about the current block height from our RPC endpoint: Use the chain_getHeader function. Here’s a glimpse of what the resulting JSON file should look like:

    "jsonrpc": "2.0",
    "method": "chain_getHeader",
    "id": 1

    "jsonrpc": "2.0",
    "result": {
			"parentHash": "0xb122de4807c3ea71c0b3f6f401e539b4addad2c7f38fcc8f51e28df94f0eb3bd",
      "number": "0x38f7c",
        //... (For brevity, not all details are shown here)
    "id": 1

Note: The details provided are an example. Ensure you follow the structure accurately.

Subspacers, this signifies the dawn of a thrilling new chapter in our journey! If your countdown timer isn’t set yet, please do so now.

:fire: The countdown is LIVE! Buckle up and brace for REWARDS! :dart:
